The “silver dust” is made by shaving clean sterling silver (from various jewelry projects) and fusing several layers onto the base sterling piece. It’s time-consuming but the effect is so cool.
 
***Note: One of the earrings has a teeny hole created during the fusing and shaping process, but it’s tiny and just part of the organic nature of the earrings.***
